- Basic device information (Android OS version, device model) — used for compatibility and crash reporting
- App usage crash logs — to help us identify and fix bugs
Information we do NOT collect:
- Your browsing history or internet activity
- The content of data transmitted through the hotspot
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number) unless you voluntarily contact us
- Location data beyond what is required by Android for Wi-Fi scanning permissions

How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Providing and improving the hotspot and tethering functionality
- Displaying real-time network statistics within the app
- Diagnosing crashes and fixing technical issues
- Ensuring compatibility across Android devices and versions

We do not use your information for advertising profiling, behavioral tracking, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

Network statistics, hotspot settings, and usage data are stored locally on your device using Android's standard storage APIs. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.

- AdMob (free version only) — for displaying ads. No personal data is sold to advertisers.

Network & Hotspot Data
VPNShare Pro operates as a network utility. Important clarifications about how we handle network data:
- We do not inspect, log, or store the content of internet traffic passing through the hotspot
- VPN tunneling is handled by your existing VPN application — VPNShare Pro does not manage or alter VPN connections
- Connected device MAC addresses are used only for the device management display and are never transmitted off-device
- QR codes generated for hotspot sharing are created locally and never sent to our servers
Important: VPNShare Pro requires certain Android permissions (e.g., Wi-Fi state, nearby devices on Android 12+) to function. These permissions are used solely for hotspot functionality and not for tracking.

Children's Privacy
VPNShare Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@vpnsharepro.app and we will promptly delete that information.
